Wood has been used for the architecture and artistic objects through many culture of mankind, for my personal relationship with wood because it is a living material when it was a tree in the forest or after being harvest to be used. The character in the wood shows the life of the tree, the tree that has to fight for its survival in the forest has more figures than the tree that planted and grows freely in the open area. This work, Forbidden Dream, inspired by the beauty of the wood work of many unknown masters that sacrificed their life to create a dream palace for the Emperor, it’s also hiding my personal story of love and journey to my imaginary world.
